Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or related field (by Summer 2026) OR equivalent experience.
Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, Go, or similar).
Hands-on coding experience from internships, projects, or coursework.
Ability to learn new systems quickly through research and mentorship.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of frontend or backend systems, and how services handle HTTP requests.
Experience in code reviews and production system updates.
Familiarity with large codebases and collaborative workflows.

Work on cross-functional engineering projects with direct collaboration.
Contribute to code reviews and provide meaningful technical feedback.
Ensure Stripe systems are scalable, reliable, and user-focused.
Gain skills to own projects end-to-end, from planning to execution.
Participate in building prototypes, betas, and open-source contributions.
