The PM Yasasvi Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students 2025-26 is a scholarship initiative by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
It supports meritorious students from these categories by providing financial assistance for their education from Class 9 to Class 12, covering tuition, hostel fees, and other school expenses, with scholarships up to ₹1,25,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian national.
- Should belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Economically Backward Classes (EBC) Denotified Tribes (DNT).
- Currently studying in Class 9 to 12 at a recognized government, government-aided, or private school.
- Family income must be ₹2,50,000 or below annually.
Scholarship Amount
- Class 9 and 10 students receive up to ₹75,000 annually.
- Class 11 and 12 students receives up to ₹1,25,000 annually.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel charges, and other necessary school expenses.
- Funds are transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Required Documents
- Academic transcripts and certificates.
- Bank account details.
- Aadhaar card or enrollment ID.
- Caste certificate.
- Domicile certificate (if applicable).
- Disability certificate (if applicable).
- Income certificate from a competent authority.
How to Apply
- Click the Apply Now button.
- Register by filling in the required details or log in if already registered using Gmail/Mobile/Email.
- Go to the ‘Students’ section on the dashboard and click it.
- Under the One-Time Registration (OTR) option, click ‘Login’ to apply on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
- Register as a new user by providing your mobile number, captcha, and OTP.
- Complete the OTR by filling in your details and downloading the OTR app for face authentication.
- Once registered, select ‘Apply for Scholarship’ and log in.
- Choose the scholarship, fill in details, upload documents, and submit your application.
Important: Fill all information correctly. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification, and changes cannot be made after submission
