Oceaneering is hiring a Design Engineer to design and develop equipment, assemblies, and systems based on customer needs and engineering requirements. This role covers concept creation, detailed design, validation, and documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and timely delivery.
You will collaborate with global teams in the US and Netherlands, contributing to innovative projects while improving existing engineering processes.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering( Freshers also eligible)
Preferred:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and PLM/PDM software.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and calculation tools.
Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 3691, ASME B30.1.
Knowledge of Sheet Metal & Weldment Design.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties
Study design inputs: drawings, CAD models, technical documents.
Evaluate customer inquiries and project specifications.
Create concepts, detailed engineering designs, calculations, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
Improve current product designs by developing new solutions.
Apply industry standards and codes relevant to the product.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis for design accuracy.
Manage design updates in PLM/PDM systems.
Deliver engineering outputs with high quality and within deadlines.
Work on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Forklift designs.
Actively contribute to process improvements and innovation.
Non-Essential Duties
