Network Support Engineer – Entry Level | Bangalore
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- CCNA or an equivalent certification.
- Additional certifications related to the role will be an advantage.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience or completion of a relevant internship program.
- Basic experience in troubleshooting and providing support for network, data center, systems, storage administration, and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
- Fundamental understanding of management agents, redundancy concepts, and technologies within networking, data centers, telephony, Exchange, storage, cloud, and backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client infrastructure and IT solutions.
- Identify and resolve problems and errors proactively.
- Recognize common incidents and propose solutions for incident prevention.
- Investigate first-level incidents, determine root causes, and troubleshoot effectively.
- Process approved service requests following company protocols.
- Provide telephonic or chat-based support when required.
- Perform approved maintenance activities, including patching and configuration updates.
- Ensure seamless service continuity by following shift handover procedures.
