The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released the notification for the 32nd batch of Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO-Generalist). Eligible Indian citizens can apply online.

Total Vacancies

350 posts have been announced.
Vacancies are distributed across categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, UR) and also include reservations for PwBD candidates as per government norms.
The number of vacancies may change depending on LIC’s requirements.

Important Dates

Start of online applications: 16th August 2025
Last date to apply: 8th September 2025
Preliminary Exam (tentative): 3rd October 2025
Main Exam (tentative): 8th November 2025
Admit Card: The admit card can be downloaded 7 days prior to the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age relaxation available for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and LIC employees as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Any Bachelor’s Degree

Salary & Benefits

Basic Pay: ₹88,635/- per month
Total Salary (approx.): ₹1,26,000/- per month in an “A” class city (includes allowances like HRA, CCA, medical, insurance, loans, etc.)

Application Fees

SC/ST/PwBD: ₹85 + GST + transaction charges
Others: ₹700 + applicable charges

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in three stages:

Preliminary Exam (online objective test – qualifying stage)
Main Exam (online objective + descriptive test – marks counted for merit)
Interview

The final selection will depend on the candidate’s performance in the Mains exam and Interview.
Candidates shortlisted for the role must also clear a medical examination before the appointment.
