Background & Skills Needed

- Strong command of SQL for data processing and extraction is essential for entry-level Data Analytics roles.
- Experience with Power BI, including building detailed dashboards and advanced reports.
- Comfort with data visualization tools and creating models using DAX queries, DAX functions, and Power Query Editor.
- Ability to understand and interpret business needs, translating requirements into accurate technical solutions relevant to entry level Data Analytics projects.
- Exposure to Row Level Security (RLS) is preferred.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure, SQL Data Warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps, and secondary tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Python or R and an understanding of statistics support the work performed in entry level Data Analytics positions.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Strong communication abilities to present complex findings clearly.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities & Impact
- Connecting, importing, and transforming business data using SQL, with a focus on ETL processes.
- Developing and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track KPIs and provide valuable business insights.
- Cleaning and transforming data from various sources for improved accuracy and consistency.
- Building tabular and multidimensional models compatible with company data warehouse standards.
- Supporting business operations by performing ad hoc data analysis to uncover trends, drive process improvements, and guide decision-making.
- Maintaining up-to-date expertise in ERP systems, Power BI, and entry level Data Analytics best practices.
- Collaborating with different teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Ensuring high quality and completeness in all datasets and analytics deliverables.
- Publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements.
- Automating routine tasks and data extraction using Power Automate, and helping stakeholders use SharePoint sites.
- Creating workflows for repeatable applications and managing technical challenges and timelines effectively.
- Supporting internal teams by conducting training and workshops related to data visualization and workflow management.
