Job Description – Lead Consultant – PowerBI
Minimum Qualifications – Graduate
Job Location – Hyderabad
Responsibilities
- Power BI (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Proficient in creating reports/dashboards and optimizing performance.
- Familiar with best practices and efficient data handling.
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Skilled at building complex measures and calculations.
- Power Query
- Experienced in data transformation and shaping within the Power BI environment.
- Data Modelling Best Practices
- Understanding of star/snowflake schemas and effective relationship design.
- High-Quality Visualizations & User Experience
- Focused on intuitive design, clear storytelling, and stakeholder-friendly interfaces.
- SQL
- Comfortable writing queries, creating views/tables, and managing complex data sets.
- Automation & Scripting (DBT + Python) – Not Essential
- Ability to automate ETL/ELT workflows for Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Investigative & Analytical Skills
- Able to explore and validate large, disparate data sets with minimal guidance.
- Version Control & Collaboration
- Familiarity with Git or similar tools for code management and teamwork.
- Documentation & Communication
- Capable of documenting processes/data flows effectively and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
