L1 Service Desk Engineer – Freshers Jobs in IT Support at Zones

Zones are seeking a highly motivated L1 Service Desk Support Engineer(Freshers Jobs) to deliver remote technical assistance and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a client-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, aiming to resolve most concerns at first touch. You will need strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a basic understanding of IT systems and software. Salary Range: INR 300000–360000

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc (IT/Computer Science), BCA, B.Tech/BE, MCA, M.Tech, or M.Sc (Computer Science).

  • Experience: 0 to 6 months in an IT support or helpdesk role. ( Freshers are eligible to Apply)

  • Skills Required:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Familiarity with desktops, mobile devices, and other common tech tools.

    • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    • Strong documentation and multitasking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial contact for all customer technical queries via phone, email, or chat.

  • Provide timely support for global clients in a 24×7 environment.

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hardware, desktops, and peripherals.

  • May be need to Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (primarily Windows) and common software.

  • Document incidents and resolutions clearly in ticketing systems.

  • Collaborate with team members using tools like Microsoft Teams and Skype.

  • Guide users through issue resolution steps using knowledge base (KB) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately.

  • Keep users informed of status updates and solutions.

  • Capture and relay customer feedback to the relevant internal teams.

  • Contribute to improving documentation and internal processes.

  • Manage real-time ticket creation and resolution tracking within defined SLAs.

  • Prioritize tasks efficiently and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
